The fallout from TakeOver: Portland took place on last night’s episode of NXT.
Tommaso Ciampa made an appearance after Johnny Gargano turned against him on Sunday. Ciampa interrupted Austin Theory and then cut a promo addressing Gargano. He sent a warning to Gargano, saying that — if Ciampa wants to get his life back — there can be no Johnny Gargano in NXT.
Ciampa will face off against Theory on NXT next week. Theory went to attack Ciampa last night, but Ciampa laid him out.
A match between Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair may also be on the horizon, but a date for it hasn’t been announced. Belair interrupted Chelsea Green vs. Kayden Carter last night and issued a challenge to Charlotte.
Velveteen Dream and Roderick Strong faced off in last night’s main event. Undisputed Era also kicked off the show before being interrupted by Dream.
Plus, things between Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic aren’t over yet, new NXT Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne were in action, and Jordan Devlin defended his Cruiserweight Championship against Lio Rush.
