At Fastlane, we found out that Roman Reigns would be the one who would be going to Wrestlemania to face Triple H for the WWE World Championship.
We are in Indianapolis, Indiana and your announcers are Mauro Ranallo, Byron Saxton, and Jerry Lawler.
Triple H’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. He puts the title belt on a table in the middle of the ring.
Hunter takes the mic and he says Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m a man of wealth and taste. I’ve been around for a long, long year. Stole many a man’s soul to waste.
Hunter mentions that Sympathy for the Devil could have been written for him. Is he the devil? It depends on who you ask. If Roman Reigns forgot who he is, there is no doubt. If Roman Reigns forgot and thought there would be no retribution for that attack a few months ago, there is no doubt in his mind any longer.
We take a look at what happened on Raw after the main event when Triple H brutally attacked Roman Reigns. Hunter says if Roman didn’t remember when he was lying here in a puddle of his own blood on Monday night, on Tuesday morning when he was lying on a doctor’s table waiting to get his shattered nose surgically repaired, it dawned on him then. We see photos of Roman’s nose after Monday night.
Hunter says that is the look of a man who knows his place. He looks like a man who has been humbled. Hunter says it is a bit confusing. The suits, the ties, and the boardrooms. Make no mistake, he is the law. He is the authority. Hunter says it is human nature to want to buck authority and challenge that law and rebel against authority. Hunter says he was there before, but you cannot beat authority.
Roman knows he cannot do it and you know you cannot do it. You wake up every day and want to buck the system but you bow your head and do you job. You bow to authority. This goes out to Roman Reigns and all of you. It goes out to anyone who can hear his voice
So if you meet me. Have some courtesy. Have some sympathy, and some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse. Or I’ll lay your soul to waste.
Roman Reigns wants to be the WWE World Champion more than anything in the world. It takes a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to be the WWE Champion. Hunter says he had to walk over a lot of people to get there. Roman has the sweat down. He works hard and he says that Roman is good, damn good. As far as the blood goes . . . Hunter shows the bloody tape from his fists from Monday night. As far as the last one goes, he gets the last one at Wrestlemania.
At AT&T Stadium in front of the largest crowd in history, you will look across that ring at him and he will humble you. Hunter says he will tear your dreams out from under you and he will get those tears. He will get those tears and there ain’t a damn thing you can do because he is the law, he is the authority, he is the Cerebral Assassin, he is the King of Kings, he is the Game. Because he is the WWE Champion, because he is that damn good.
Mauro mentions Roman’s current status and says there is no timetable for his return.
