— The following are results from tonight’s NXT TV taping from Full Sail University:
– Beth Phoenix was introduced as the newest member of the NXT commentary team, joining Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness. Percy Watson didn’t appear.
Dark match —
– Trevor Lee defeated Shane Strickland
This was Strickland’s NXT debut. Lee hit a standing stomp to get the win.

– There was an in-ring segment where the Viking Raiders wanted to vacate the NXT Tag Team titles since no one can beat them for them. The Street Profits then challenged them to a title match, with William Regal making it official.
– Keith Lee defeated Cezar Bononi
A Spirit Bomb got the win for Lee. The crowd was loud for him.
– KUSHIDA defeated Kona Reeves
Decisive victory for KUSHIDA. Drew Gulak came out to the stage and watched the match.
– Vanessa Borne (w/ Aliyah) defeated Jessie Elaban
Quick match. Borne used a sliding neckbreaker for the win.
– The Viking Raiders’ Tag Team title defense against The Street Profits ended in a DQ when The Forgotten Sons and Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch got involved.
The Profits had a visual pin on the champions, but there was no referee. The Viking Raiders left the titles in the ring after the match and bowed.
– Xia Li defeated Rachael Evers
Li won with a spin kick.
– The Undisputed Era took part in an in-ring segment. Adam Cole announced that Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish will have a chance to be Tag Team Champions again, and Cole will have another shot at NXT Champion Johnny Gargano at TakeOver.
Gargano made his way to the ring and ran down Cole before Matt Riddle ran in and started fighting with Undisputed Era. Gargano joined in, with security rushing to pull them apart.
– Mansoor Al-Shehail defeated Sean Maluta
Quick win for Mansoor.
– NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream was interrupted by Tyler Breeze in the ring. Dream tried to tell him that he has to get in the back of the line, but Breeze left him laying.
– Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel defeated Team 3.0 (Scott Parker & Shane Matthews)
Aichner & Barthel picked up a decisive win.
– O’Reilly & Fish vs. The Street Profits vs. Lorcan & Burch vs. The Forgotten Sons for the vacant NXT Tag Team titles was announced for TakeOver.
– Candice LeRae defeated Reina Gonzalez
LeRae hit a lionsault for the finish. The Horsewomen then ran down to surround LeRae, but Io Shirai made the save with a kendo stick and cleaned house. The crowd was hot for this.
– Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish defeated Matt Riddle & Johnny Gargano
Great matchup that saw Adam Cole run interference, allowing Roderick Strong to hit an apron backbreaker on Riddle behind the referee’s back. O’Reilly and Fish then put Riddle down.
– Mia Yim defeated Bianca Belair
Hard fought match that ended with Yim hitting Eat Defeat for the victory.
– KUSHIDA defeated Drew Gulak
A backslide pinning combo got the three count for KUSHIDA. Gulak argued about the result after the match.
– Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. The Forgotten Sons ended in a DQ when The Street Profits and Undisputed Era got involved.
Cole led the rest of Undisputed Era in using a ladder to attack Jaxson Ryker. Cole ascended the ladder and said “Johnny Gargano and Matt Riddle, TakeOver will be Undisputed.” Undisputed Era posed on and around the ladder.

– Undisputed Era comes out, saying they are all on the same page. Johnny Gargano comes out and accepts Adam Cole’s challenge for Takeover. Matt Riddle attacks the Era from behind and a brawl ensues.
– Mansoor def. Sean Maluta
– Velveteen Dream is cutting a promo when interrupted by Tyler Breeze. The crowd chants “Welcome Home” for Tyler. Breeze claims that since he left, there have been a lot of imitators, but no one like Prince Pretty. Dream says things are different in his NXT. Dream offers to take a selfie with Tyler. Tyler agrees and punches Dream as they pose.
– Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel def. Team 3.0
– Candice Lerae def. Reina Gonzalez
Post match: Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir attack LeRae. Io Shirai, with a kendo stick, makes the save.
– Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish def. Matt Riddle and Johnny Gargano
Week 3
– Mia Yim def. Bianca Belair
– Kushida def. Drew Gulak
– Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vs. The Forgotten Sons ends in no contest when the Street Profits attack everyone. Roderick Strong and Adam Cole attack Jackson Ryker on stage as Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly attack the rest of the competitors. All 4 members of Undisputed Era attack Jackson Ryker with a ladder. All 4 pose as Cole says that for Gargano and Riddle, Takeover will be Undisputed.

– Beth Phoenix came out for commentary, seemingly replacing Percy Watson who was not there. Watson’s status is unclear.
– No official date or location for Takeover was announced.
– The card so far includes:
