— WWE announced yesterday’s Smackdown 1000 attendance at 15,776 which would be very close to a sell-out and well above the usual attendance that the show usually is able to pull.
— The in-ring interview with Evolution members Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton ran too long last night on Smackdown, forcing the company to cut short the Undertaker’s interview that ended the show and to cancel at least a couple other minor segments which were to feature stars from the past. Reportedly the opening Truth TV segment also ran slightly long contributing to the time crunch.
— WWE continues to refrain from mentioning “Saudi Arabia” on any of their TV programs when talking about Crown Jewel as an attempt to deflect attention away from the current media controversy. They are able to do this because there is no internal agenda to push ticket sales or network subscriptions for this event as all the revenue is derived from the actual agreement with the Saudi government and it is the country who is responsible for filling the stadium.
