Thanks to rajah.com reader Josh B. for sending this in!
Hello my name is Josh B. I wanted to email the results of the live show from Milwaukee, WI last night 3-14-15.
In the opening match it was the
Prime Time Players defeating Adam Rose and Heath Slater
PTP got a pretty nice pop, lots of Titus’ “urrah” chants. Rose and Slater came out together with the Rosebuds. Slater did the stage dive and Rose got upset. Overall match was good and the crowd was into it. PTP was really over with the crowd and looked impressive. Titus pinned Rose with an “Albert Bomb”. I was expecting something between O’Neil and Slater but there wasn’t much except for Slater mimicking his urrah chant.
Adrian Neville vs. Curtis Axel
Curtis Axel came out next for his match as there were some Axelmania chants going on. He got on the mic and said how he was still in the Rumble for 47 days and that he’s going to win the Battle Royal at Wrestlemania. He told the crowd to shut up and listen, he played more of a heel role here than I’ve seen on TV. Adrian Neville came out to a really nice ovation. A lot of people were surprised to see him. Great match, Neville is so quick and awesome live, him and Axel had a great match. Neville won with the Red Arrow which is so much more impressive live. Hope he has a great push on the main roster.
Zack Ryder vs Brad Maddox
Really no reaction to either one when they came out, except when Ryder did his chant the crowd was with him. Beginning of the match had Maddox do a couple of holds and a hip toss and kept telling Ryder to get back to the locker room and bring out someone better. The crowd wasn’t really into this match, both of them did pretty well in the ring, Maddox did a good job at getting everyone to boo him. Ryder won via pin.
Goldust vs. Stardust
Very good match here, with Goldust picking up the pin via his snap powerslam. Stardust looked shocked and blamed the ref for a quick count. Cody chants throughout the whole match almost, Stardust played it up while Goldust egged him on. I’m surprised Stardust wasn’t in Seattle since it seemed that’s where all the IC title picture guys were. Goldust had a good pop and the crowd was really behind him. I wish they would have some interaction on Raw or Smackdown, seems odd they don’t given their recent feud.
Triple threat U.S. Title match
Rusev vs. Ryback vs. Jack Swagger
This was a pretty good match even though it was slow paced. Rusev came out without Lana. He waved the flag around and got on the mic and bashed the crowd, tons of boos and USA chants. Rusev did a great job at getting some cheap heat. Crowd said what after everything he said in Russian. Swagger got a nice pop, very loud “We the people” by the crowd with Swagger. Ryback came out last to a very loud pop, the loudest so far of the night. Feed Me More is being changes through out the arena. Most people know that Rusev is keeping this title since he’s defending it at Mania. Match went about 10-15 minutes, Ryback spent plenty of time out on the floor. Some really great near falls though. Swagger threw on the ankle lock at the end, Ryback broke it up and gave Swagger the Shell Shock. Rusev popped up and gave Ryback his thrust kick to the face, where then Rusev went for the Accolade on Swagger. Swagger did try powering out of it and at one point just about stood up with Rusev on his back, reminded me of their old feud this past summer. Crowd was really loud for Swagger on him trying to break the hold. Rusev spun around and forced Swagger back down where he tapped out. Winner and still US Champ Rusev, as if there was any doubt. After the match Ryback hit Rusev with his Shell Shock then Rusev rolled out of the ring. He helped Swagger up and the shook hands. They both led everyone there in each others chants. Ryback did We The People and Swagger had everyone say Feed Me More.
Back from intermission is a divas tag match
The Bella Twins vs Naomi and Paige
There was a Twitter vote for either a divas tag or a one on one. The vote for most of the night was 92% to 8% in favor of the one on one. Then right before the end of intermission it was going back and for the between 51% – 49%. Ultimately ending up in the tag match…we smell a fix haha.
The Bella’s had a lot of fans there, mixes of cheers and boos. Naomi had a good crowd reaction and Paige had a loud pop when she came out. Overall a good match, way better than what is seen on TV. Of course they had about 10 minutes for the match. The Bella’s did a very nice tag move on Naomi, almost like a double flip over kick toss. But in the end it was Paige getting the victory by pinning Brie with the Rampaige.
The Miz w/Mizdow vs Jimmy Uso
Miz and Mizdow came out with Mizdow getting a huge pop. Mix of course got upset and told him to stop. Mizdow kept slapping hands with the fans behind Miz’s back. They did their hands in the air at the four sides of the ring with Miz getting boo’d and Mizdow getting cheered. Miz grabbed the mic and told Mizdow to grab a chair and sit in the corner on the outside. Mizdow grabbed the steel chair then paused for a second like he was going to hit Miz with it, we were all egging Mizdow on to do it. Ultimately he did not do it them Miz got some cheap heat by talking down to the fans and calling them losers. He also told everyone that they can see his many accomplisents on the Network and see a winner in action. He was then cut off by the lights going out and Jimmy Uso entering the stage. Weirs seeing just him and him alone doing the Uso Samoan dance before his music hit. He grabbed the mic and lead the crowd in a woah chant and sticking his hand in his face. He asked Miz why he calls Milwaukee losers when all Miz has been doing lately is losing matches. He said that everyone can relive his losses by watching the Network for $9.99. This was mostly a comedy relief match. Mizdow did some stunt double spots, huge “we want Mizdow” chants. There was a dance off with Miz and Jimmy, Mizdow got in on it too. Jimmy won via super kick after he was distracted by Mizdow arguing with him. After the match Jimmy and Mizdow danced some more and they did a handshake thing and Jimmy raised Mizdow’s hand. Mizdow rules, he’s so over with crowds and I hope he keeps that momentum when he splits from Miz.
Main Event
Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton and John Cena
Orton came out to a huge pop and the crowd was really behind him. Rollins had his ribs taped, selling his injuries from the beat down Orton gave him on Raw. Cena came out and I have to say almost the whole arena was for Cena. Loudest pop of the hand with him and Orton. Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks chants were going on. Moat of our area was chanting Cena sucks. But tons of Cena fans here. Cena was in there for most of the match and was the face I’m danger and getting worked on by Wyatt and Rollins for a huge chunk of the match. Seemed like there were four or five close tags to Orton that were cutoff. Cena then finally made the hot tag to Orton and he came in and cleaned house. Wyatt came in from the outside after Orton hit his middle rope DDT and attacked Orton. Orton then shoved Wyatt into an AA by Cena Orton was eyeing up Wyatt then Rollins tried to sneak up on him. He spun Orton around and Orton right away hit him with an RKO for the win. Great match and lots of crowd chants. All the faces won tonight except for Rusev which doesn’t surprise me too much since it was a house show. This was a really great card and great action.
Loudest pops of the night
1- tied John Cena and Randy Orton
2 – Ryback
3 – Mizdow
