According to one source, up until the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view poster with John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar featured on it leaked out earlier this week, the plan was for Cena to win the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship at this Sunday’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.

It’s being said now that with the poster leaking, and with WWE pushing Cena-Lesnar hard in a “news blast,” which we wrote about here on the website earlier today, that there’s a good chance that the originally intended finish for this Sunday’s main event will be changed.

It should be noted, however, that the talk going around is that regardless of what happens on Sunday night, WWE is likely still going to run with a Cena-Lesnar main event for this year’s SummerSlam.
