US TV news giant Sinclair Broadcast Group was criticised on Monday for appearing to have arranged for its local news anchors to read an identical script slamming ‘fake news’ stories.
A clip compiled by Deadspin shows multiple examples of news programme hosts repeating the same words and sentences.

The employees are reported to have been ordered to read script which includes the line: “the troubling trend of irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country”.
President Donald Trump responded on Monday in a tweet that read: “So funny to watch Fake News Networks, among the most dishonest groups of people I have ever dealt with, criticize Sinclair Broadcasting for being biased. Sinclair is far superior to CNN and even more Fake NBC, which is a total joke.”
