WWE’s Lana recently spoke with Comic Book on a variety of topics. The Ravishing Russian talked about her marriage to Rusev, her place in WWE and her work on Total Divas. But Lana also talked about the night when SmackDown Women’s champion Becky Lynch went down with injury.

The night was November 12 and the injury came on Monday Night Raw. Becky led the SmackDown women’s locker room in an invasion on the women of the red brand. Lana was involved in the melee and spoke about the moment she realized Becky was hurt.

“Becky was leading this attack, which was really really exciting to be a part of it. And the next thing I know, I pick up Dana to punch her in the face and she’s covered in blood. And her whole face is just blood. And I’m like oh my gosh. We’re told not to continue hitting if there’s blood, or if we have to get a doctor. it’s a fight but at the same time, you know, things will get stopped. I was told to get a doctor and a ref for Becky and I tried to make it over to that side of the ring where the ref and the doc is and told them. But Becky is one of the toughest girls I know out there and she just continued.”

But for fans that may be curious, Dana wasn’t hurt during the brawl.

“I thought Dana was hurt because she was covered in blood. But it was Becky’s blood that was all over Dana. It was actually Dana that told me ‘you need to got get a doctor and get a ref right now.’”

Becky’s injury caused her to miss Survivor Series, where she was replaced by her nemesis, Charlotte Flair. Flair faced Ronda Rousey in the semi-main event which saw Rousey beaten with two kendo sticks and a steel chair.

There is no timetable for Becky’s return to the ring and WWE has yet to announce if she will face Ronda in the near future. Many fans believe that the two will square off at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. But it’s unknown if the company will indeed book that match.
