Metro commuters usually see through the windows and find private vehicles stuck in a traffic jam. They thanks the government while travelling in air-conditioned trains to reach their destination. Metro has drastically reduced the hassle and travel time for the commuters across the city. Now even the VIPs are using it to good effect. On Tuesday, the Delhi metro helped union minister Hardeep Singh Puri, when he almost missed a flight thanks to a traffic jam.

Union minister for housing and urban affairs, Puri, had to catch a flight on Tuesday morning but his car got stuck in a traffic jam on the way to the Delhi airport. Puri opted for the Airport Express Line instead and was all praise for Delhi Metro.
