As we noted over the weekend, it appears as if WWE Champion AJ Styles might have suffered some type of legitimate injury at the WWE MSG live event on Friday night, as Styles did not appear at the Saturday or Sunday live events for which he was scheduled.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio noted over the weekend that WWE did announce before Sunday’s live event in Odessa, TX, that Styles indeed suffered an injury at the WWE MSG event, however, it is unknown at this time how severe the injury might be.
