Braun Strowman has evolved into one true main event player in WWE over the past few months of his career. He has fought Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship on a handful of occasions and also just won the first 50-man Royal Rumble match last week. Fans today cannot imagine seeing Strowman without his long beard or long hair, but there was a time when Strowman was completely clean shaven. The Raw Superstar just released a photo on his Instagram account (in which he posts out of character) of himself from nine years ago. Strowman found his own unique look upon joining the WWE roster, but it still seems strange to see “The Monster Among Men” like this. Check out the photo posted down below:

50 members of the WWE roster took part in the 50-man Royal Rumble match at the Greatest Royal Rumble, and despite the fact that Kevin Owens took part in the match, his counterpart Sami Zayn was mysteriously absent from the match. It was later reported that Zayn could not attend the event in Saudi Arabia due to his Syrian background. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has just provided some additional updates on the story by reporting that Zayn was not informed that he would be missing the event until the Raw show right before it. Zayn took part in an injury angle to write him off of TV temporarily. Zayn has reportedly not been given a reason as to why he was left off of the show, and WWE talents were told not to mention his absence while they were in Jeddah.

It was bittersweet when WWE Superstar Paige had to announce her retirement from the ring last month on the Raw after WrestleMania. Paige was forced to retire from the ring due to multiple injuries that she has suffered over the course of her career, but she has since taken on the role of Smackdown General Manager. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Paige was not released by WWE after her retirement because the company does not want to admit that they released her when the “Fighting With my Family” biopic based on her life comes to theaters in 2019. The film is produced by WWE Studios and The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions company, so it looks like Paige will remain on Smackdown at least until March of next year.
