RAW this week starts with music and pyro.
HHH’s music and nothing happens at first. Then Booker T comes out with Sharmell. They get HUGE heat. He says that perhaps we were expecting someone else. Last week he watched the video about his return and this music implies he’s the King of Kings. To him it’s blasphemy. There’s only one King on WWE. Sharmell says the only King is King Bookah! So, from here on out HHH is stripped of anything to do with kings. There’s only one King, King Bookah! But there’s one other small matter he must address.
Booker walks down and around the ring. “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.’
“You suck!” chant.
Booker stands in front of the announce table. He says that while he’s respected him for many years, he’s asking as a show of respect for Jerry to remove King from his name.
Jerry stands up. “Jerry,” chant. Jerry says he’s respected Booker for many years, but he’s been the King for over 30 years. He doesn’t understand why they can’t both use the name King. Booker says there’s only one monarchy. He says that they should just make it easy and go along with their business.
Jerry says that he can’t control what the fans or JR calls him, but he won’t call himself King.
Booker thanks him and asks one more thing. He wants Jerry to kiss his ring.
The look Jerry gives is priceless. Jerry stands up and says he won’t do it!
Booker walks around the table and says he’s not asking him to kiss his ring, he’s ordering him to do it. He holds out his hand again.
Jerry says, ‘NO!”
“Jerry,” chant.
Booker hits Jerry who lands in JR’s lap. Jerry comes back punching until refs stop the fight. Booker loses his robe and yells that he’s going to “Get Jerry’s ass.” Booker yells and screams his way back up the ramp.
Flair is on the screen and says he would have to give the match to Cena over Lashley. They’re both young, strong and motivated. Lashley could win, but Cena will retain and has a great future.

JR says the fans are all wound up. King says when someone gets in his face and hits a cheap shot he’ll do what he does best. What he just did. They show video of Umaga kicking the crap out of Santino last week.
Lillian is in the ring announcing the four way elimination match. The winner will face Umaga at GAB for the IC Title. Jeff Hardy is the first out. Shelton comes out next with Haas at his side. Santino is next out. Last, but not least, is Regal.
Shelton clotheslines Jeff over the top and goes with him. Santino and Regal work each other over and end up outside. Shelton and Jeff are back in. Jeff kicks Shelton in the gut in the corner. They hit double cross bodies. Regal enters and gets two on Jeff. Santino rolls up Regal for two. Snap suplex from Santino to Regal. Shelton blind sides Santino. Suplex from Shelton to Santino for two. Santino comes back with kicks. A right to Shelton’s face from Santino. Shelton gets a roll up on Santino, Santino reverses it but Regal nails him in the head with a knee. Regal covers Santino for three. Santino is eliminated.
Jeff throws punches on Regal in the corner but Shelton picks up Jeff and hits the electric chair on Jeff.

Shelton and Regal suplex Jeff into the ring. Regal and Shelton both pin Jeff for two. Regal and Shelton start arguing. Regal attacks Shelton from behind. Regal suplexes Shelton and attacks Jeff. Regal covers Jeff for two. Shelton attacks Regal in a corner. Regal and Shelton end up cracking heads. Jeff works the both over. Shelton gets sent outside and then Regal takes Jeff down for two. Twist of fate to Regal and Jeff covers for three. Regal is eliminated.
Shelton climbs and flies into Jeff. Shelton covers for two. Shelton throws a bunch of punches and covers for two. “Hardy” chant. Whisper in the wind to Shelton. Jeff tosses Shelton from the ring into Haas. Jeff flies over the top and takes them both down. Shelton gets rolled into the ring and Jeff climbs. Shelton rolls out of the way of the swanton. Shelton covers for two. “Hardy” chant. Jeff manages to roll Shelton up for three.

Edge is o tape and says he has no history with Lashley, but he does with Cena. He doesn’t like Cena, but he respects him. He thinks Cena will retain.

Slam of The Week – Cody tells Orton to stay away from Dusty. Dusty tells Orton he’s disrespectful. Orton bitch slaps Dusty. In the ring dusty agrees to face Orton at GAB in a Texas Bull Rope Match. Cody bitch slaps Orton.
Grisham is out back with Orton. They talk about how Cody had the guts to slap Orton and they will now face each other tonight. Orton talks about the long list of people he’s taken out, including HBK. He tells Cody to think about all the people he’s taken out. He wants Dusty ringside to witness what will happen at GAB. He’s going to end Cody’s career before it starts.
Maria is trying to cheer up Santino. Santino talks about the Transformer movie. Santino says he feels like a fraud and he doesn’t belong. Then he feels better when he’s with her. He thanks her for her help. He asks her to spend the night and he’ll make her breakfast tomorrow. She asks for pancakes.
Batista says it’s tough to predict this match. Technical skill has to go to Lashley. Then that undefinable thing – guts and grit, that’s Cena. The fans will be the winners. But he has to go with Lashley. He’s never been in the ring with anyone like him.

Snitsky, on the monitor, says that as much as he likes winning matches he likes hurting people more. To his opponents – their pain is his pleasure. Snitsky’s music starts and he comes out. Val comes out to face him.
Val gets an arm bar on Snitsky but gets tossed away. Snitsky over powers val into a corner. A forearm to Val’s back. Val hits a reverse elbow but runs into a hard clothesline. A cup handle slam to Val and Snitsky covers for three.

Snitsky picks up Val and slams him again.
Grisham is out back with Cody. He says he’s proud of his dad. He’d never disrespect his father. There’s no RKO that will change him being a legend or change his following. Dusty walks up, they hug and walk away together.

King is in the ring and talks about the Texas Bull Rope Match. He tells us what it’s about. Dusty will face Orton. Each will be buckled by their wrist to this long rope. There’s a seven pound cow bell in the middle of the rope. All things are legal. Dusty has been in many of these matches. King goes on and on about what Dusty has done to people with the cow bell rope. He finishes with a bad pun about somebody getting their bell rung.
Orton comes down to the ring. Video of Orton taking out HBK followed by video of Orton taking out RVD. Cody comes out with his dad while JR calls him Cody Runnels – typical JR slip. Cody’s in green trunks with matching knee pads and yellow boots. “Cody” chant.
Orton mouths off to Dusty outside. A back elbow to Cody and then a clothesline to the young kid. A kick to Cody while he’s down. Cody gets choked in the ropes and punches to the chest before the five count. Cody gets tossed outside. Orton leaves the ring and stares at Dusty over the boy. Cody comes back with punches and tosses Orton in the ring. Orton ducks a cross body. Orton stomps his way around Cody. Orton mouths off again to Dusty, giving Cody a chance. Cody mounts a little offense but runs into a power slam. Hard back body drop to Cody who over rotated. More stomping from Orton. A couple chops from Cody and Orton comes back again.
Dusty yells at Orton to ‘shut up’ when he mouths off to him. A hard suplex to Cody and then a stomp to the head. A chin lock to Cody and Dusty removes his jacket. Cody gets to his feet and elbows out, but Orton takes him down hard. Orton hits a bunch of punches to Cody’s head. Orton gets a lot of heat. Cody comes back with punches. Orton gets whipped. Cody hits a forearm and climbs. Cody hits a flying dropkick and covers Orton for two. An inverted back breaker from Orton. Orton sets up for the RKO. He hits the RKO and covers for three. (Not a bad first televised match for the kid!)

Dusty enters the ring to tend to his son. Dusty gets to his feet and turns to Orton just as he’s rushing in for a cheap shot. Orton skids to a halt and quickly leaves the ring. “Dusty” chant. Dusty goes back to tending his son.
Austin says the match is a dream match for the fans and he’s looking forward to it. He thinks Lashley should implement more of his amateur background, but he’s great in the ring. Cena has more in-ring experience. He has to go with Cena, but it could go either way with Lashley in the ring.

Video of Cody’s drop kick and almost win. Then Orton hits the RKO for the win. Video from a different angle shows Orton was going to kick Cody in the head after the match and that’s what Dusty stopped.
Melina and Beth come down to the ring. Melina is wrestling. Melina’s in black and green, Beth is in a red corset and black bottoms. Mickie comes bouncing out in a silvery/blue and black two piece pants and halter outfit. Candy comes out in jeans and a sparkly micro-top. Candy is in Mickie’s corner.
Mickie quickly rolls Melina up for two. An arm bar on Mickie. Mickie cart-wheels out and flips Melina. Forearms to Melina’s face. Mickie gets up on the corner and Beth distracts her. Mickie comes off the corner but Melina counters with a drop kick, mid-air. Mickie is laid across the second ropes in a corner and Melina slams down on her gut with her knees. Forearms to Melina’s face. Mickie slams her down by the hair. A knee to Mickie’s gut. Mickie hits a neck breaker for two. Mickie gets whipped but gets and elbow up. Mickie hits head scissors. Beth starts to get involved and Mickie kicks her to the floor. That distraction gives Melina the upper hand and she’s able to cover for three using her leg drop/cover.

SD! Rebound – Edge’s Mardi Gras celebration. Before that Edge keeps seeing Kane when he might not be there. Edge spears the ‘Queen at the celebration, but Kane was in the ‘king’ costume. Kane takes apart Edge and the rest of the celebrants from the parade.
Hacksaw is out back with Regal. Regal comments on the 2X4. Regal wants the 2X4 because Coach wants it bronzed. Hacksaw won’t hand it over and tells him to hand it over. Regal demands Hacksaw “Put your massive piece of wood in my hand, right now!” Ron Simmons walks up and says… “DAMN!”
Foley says he should have learned at Vengeance not to bet against Cena. But he can’t win forever. Take it from a guy who held the title for one day. Lashley could win it. Foley is betting on Lashley at the Bash-ly.

Carlito comes down to the ring. Video of Sandman taking out Carlito and Regal with his kendo stick. Sandman comes out through the crowd. He’s busted open by his first beer. He has trouble getting around a fan to walk the rail, security had to move the chubby guy out of the way.
Sandman gets an arm bar on Carlito. It’s turned into a hammer lock. A takeover by Carlito that sort of looks like a ½, or side, sunset flip. Carlito throws punches in a corner until he’s moved away. Snap mare from Carlito. A head wrench to Sandman. Scoop slam by Sandman. Sand man climbs but Regal enters and attacks him.

Regal and Carlito beat down Sandman. Hacksaw comes out to make the save. Carlito and Regal duck from the ring to avoid the 2X4. Sandman and Hacksaw are in the ring, with wood, ready for a fight.
JBL says it will be great to see these two clash. He’s lost titles to both of them. It’s an even match up. In that case you go with the person with experience. So it goes to Cena.

WWE Rewind – Kennedy telling Crazy to lay down for him in the ring. Crazy then beats Kennedy who was flapping his gums.
Kennedy comes down to the ring. Video of Kennedy attacking an injured Crazy out back. The mic comes down from the roof and the lights go down. Kennedy says it was pretty cool – meaning the attack on Crazy. He then announces himself to much heat. Super Crazy comes out to face him.
SC tries to attack before removing his poncho, the refs stops them until the bell is rung. Heel kick from . Side head lock from Kennedy into a shoulder block. A body block by SC. SC is down in a corner and the ref keeps pulling Kennedy off. A kick to SC and Kennedy covers for two. A kick from SC. Kennedy kicks SC in a corner. An abdominal stretch to SC. Kennedy uses the ropes behind the ref’s back. SC starts to elbow Kennedy in the leg and gets out. Kennedy goes to splash SC who gets his knees up. SC throws some punches in a corner. Kennedy gets whipped and clotheslined in a corner. Springboard moonsault by SC. SC climbs and is pushed to a funny angle up top. Kennedy hits a reverse suplex off the top (beautifully executed move). Kennedy covers for three.

Kennedy announces himself the winner to more heat.
JR and King go through the matches for GAB.
Split screen – Cena and Lashley are heading for the ring.

Video of HHH’s injury. They then go through his surgery as if he was the bionic man – the audio over it is bionic man. They show him rehabbing and working out. Then it’s his music.
The ring is set up with a red rug and two podiums. Coach is talking about the match being between a champion and an un-crowned champion. Lashley comes out first. Cena then gets announced and comes out. He does his ‘you can’t see me’ thing to Coach who’s on the stage. In the ring they stare at each other a bit between poses. Lashley stares the whole time as he stands behind his podium.
Coach says he will ask questions and to direct the answers to each other.
After Lashley won the beat the clock he speared Cena. Video of the spear. Coach says Cena’s faced a lot of people, but not who have the speed, agility and strength of Lashley. Does he think his reign will end this Sunday?
Cena says it’s an unbelievably great question. Cena then mocks him more while thinking about it. Cena says yes and starts “crying”. He talks about the spear hurting him, and he promised himself he wouldn’t cry. And there’s no way he could win the match and the worst part of it is he never learned to read! God Bless America. Coach, that was the worst question in history. You get no points. Cena turns to Lashley and says he’s been told he’s stronger and faster than him. He’s faced a lot of people. Sometimes he’s won, sometimes he’s lost. At the GAB he’s give Lashley his best.
Coach asks what he was trying to say by spearing Cena.
Lashley says he’s been winning for years and has never asked to talk about it. He’s not here to hype the match, let the hyp man do it. He pushes over the podium and tells Cena he can have it and talk all he wants.
Coach says it’s his face-off and his show. They will take him seriously.
Lashley says he will do something he should have done a long time ago. Lashley leaves the ring and heads for Coach.
Coach says he’ll loose his title shot if he touches him.
Cena starts talking and stops Lashley. He says Lashley always wants to fight, no matter who. He needs to keep control or he’ll looks this Sunday as he does now, exiting a ring without a championship.
Lashley starts heading for Cena and refs stop him half way down the ramp.
Cena talks about Cena’s last huge wins. He talks up Lashley and that it’s said he’s invincible, indestructible. at the GAB he will put it to the test. He says the champ is here and Lashley starts heading for the ring again without letting anyone stop him. Cena leaves the ring and they face each other at the bottom of the ramp. Lashley pushes Cena’s head and they start but are broken up. Cena keeps saying that Lashley will get his best as the camera fades out.
