John Cena is back on WWE television at the moment as he campaigns for a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania this year. The match will likely be confirmed on Raw this Monday night, and Cena is scheduled to compete at WrestleMania on April 8th, but what about his schedule after the event concludes? PWInsider has just reported that Cena will start working on two new film projects after WrestleMania wraps up. Therefore, it is likely that Cena won’t be around much after the event ends. John Cena is scheduled to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27th, but do not expect to see Cena on most of the shows in between or after that show.
One of the most unique matches in the history of Raw came a few weeks back when Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt faced off in the Ultimate Deletion match from the Hardy Compound. The match drew a whole mix of different reactions from fans, but when it comes to the future of more “Broken Universe” matches, no one’s opinion matters more than Vince McMahon’s. Sports Illustrated recently reported that McMahon was actually blown away by the match and the amount of discussion that it received on social media. With the backstage reception to the Ultimate Deletion match being mostly positive, it is safe to say that more matches just like it will appear in WWE in the future.
It was truly shocking when WWE announced that none other than Jeff Jarrett would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year. Jarrett will be inducted into the Hall of Fame by Road Dogg during the ceremony on April 6th, but it appears that Jarrett may have a few more projects with WWE lined up for the future. Jarrett recently revealed on Twitter that WWE has invited him to appear on the WWE Network series Table for 3, which sees guests of three sit down and discuss their time in the business together over dinner. Jarrett did not reveal which two superstars will be joining him on the future episode of the series, nor did he reveal when the episode is scheduled to be released.
