It continues to look like Pentagon Jr. and Fenix will be turning up at the AEW: Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
Following the invitation from Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks at the “Come Hell or High Water” indy show over the weekend, Major League Wrestling (MLW) promoter Court Bauer also chimed in on the two finishing up with his promotion.
“I want to thank [Pentagon Jr. and Fenix] for an extraordinary 7+ months as the [MLW] World Tag Team Champions,” wrote Bauer via Twitter on Sunday. “Mas chingons! MLW will always embrace you as family as you helped build this house. Wherever you go next always know you both are 1000000000% leyendas de Lucha Libre!”
Despite finishing up with MLW, the two are still scheduled for multiple dates in Mexico, and are still booked with AAA, CMLL, Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground, if a fifth season is filmed. However, it’s worth noting that their rumored deal with AEW would not be an exclusive one anyways, which would enable them to fulfill the aforementioned bookings while still appearing at the AEW: Double or Nothing PPV.
