TNA Wrestling founder Jeff Jarrett is now suing his former promotion and Anthem Sports & Entertainment for allegedly continuing to his new Global Force Wrestling promotion’s likeness on TV. Jarrett claims that Impact Wrestling’s Global Wrestling Entertainment streaming service uses a similar name and logo, and that the promotion still has the GFW Amped shows on the service as well. PWInsider has provided an update on the situation noting that Jarrett and Global Wrestling Entertainment filed a response on November 29th to Anthem’s motion to be excused from having the case under Tennessee law. Despite this, Jarrett remains persistent in his claims, and a jury trial for the case is now scheduled for June 30th, 2020.

WWE’s next pay-per-view, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, will be taking place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on December 26th. Several of the top titles will be on the line during the show, and it appears as if the company may be planning on ending the year with a number of title changes. Cageside Seats has just noted that multiple championships are now expected to change hands during the show. As of right now, the WWE Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championships, Raw Women’s Championship, SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Intercontinental Championship will be defended during TLC. Expect to see the current landscape of titleholders change in the very near future.
