After 12 years in The WWE, Nikki Bella announced her retirement from the company during Sunday’s episode of Total Bellas, which was the season 4 finale. According to TMZ, Nikki Bella still has a great working relationship with WWE and the door is definitely open for her if she would decide to return sometime in the future.

Nikki Bella is reportedly stepping away from the ring to focus on other business ventures and projects. It is also said that she is stepping away due to the wear & tear on her body, but sources close to her told TMZ that she still loves pro wrestling and that she still loves The WWE. According to the sources, Nikki Bella would also be interested in making special cameo appearances in the future as long as the timing is right.

Regarding her working relationship with WWE, word is that Nikki Bella will be signing on as a WWE Ambassador. This has not been officially announced by WWE. According to TMZ, Total Bellas will also continue into the future.
