– Atlas DaBone could be the next WWE developmental talent to get called up to the RAW roster. WWE has been having DaBone dismantle his opponents at house shows since the beginning of the year and have paired him with Ashley Massaro as his valet. DaBone is widely considered as the most charismatic talent in Ohio Valley Wrestling as he has been a mainstay in the territory for over a year.

– Head SmackDown creative writer Michael Hayes and Pat Patterson met on January 2nd to book the entire 30 Man Royal Rumble match reports Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. They were able to come up with a list of the 30 superstars for the match, an order of eliminations, and all of the high spots. Hayes met with Vince McMahon the next day and got the OK for most of it. WWE creative is in the process of getting approval from all of the key talent in the match as to what will happen.
