This year, there’s a new star in the Easter candy universe. Henri, a bulldog from North Carolina, has been crowned the winner of Cadbury’s first-ever “Bunny Tryouts,” and will star in the annual iconic Clucking Bunny commercial.

Henri was selected for the honor out of more than 4,000 pets wearing bunny ears, and will appear in the commercial in April.

“When people see the iconic Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial, they know Easter season is here,” said Katrina Vatter, Marketing Team Member, Cadbury US brand. “For the first time in over 35 years, we are honored to expand our tradition and welcome Henri as a new character to the commercial.”

Henri lives with his owners Kathie and Tim Santillo in Wilmington, and is already a social media star. He has his own Instagram account, which boasts nearly 2,000 followers. You can find all the wrinkled cuteness here.
