It is looking increasingly more likely that independent wrestling sensation Matt Riddle will be joining WWE soon as a member of the NXT roster. Riddle has pulled from numerous independent wrestling commitments over the past few days, and during an appearance on Sean Waltman’s 1-2-360 podcast, the WWN Champion finally addressed some of the rumors about his next career move. Riddle said that he considers himself fortunate to be working for EVOLVE Wrestling, but he did also say that NXT currently has “endless possibilities” for him. He cited Tommaso Ciampa and Ricochet as opponents he would definitely like to face one day, and he said that it is “time to make the right decision” as far as the next step in his pro wrestling journey is concerned.
After being brought back to WWE during the Money in the Bank pay-per-view last month, it was announced on Smackdown earlier this week that James Ellsworth had already been fired from the company. Ellsworth was brought back to WWE to work alongside Carmella during her recent feud against Asuka, but it was later reported that he never signed a new contract with the company and that his latest run in WWE was only meant to be brief. Sure enough, Ellsworth is once again taking independent bookings. He sent out a series of tweets recently reflecting on his career in WWE. Ellsworth thanked the fans for supporting him throughout his career on the indies as well as during his time in WWE, and he promised to continue fighting in the future.

There has been a lot of hullabaloo over the relationship between Nikki Bella and John Cena this year. The two of them announced that they had decided to call off their wedding earlier this year and separate entirely, but that was before Cena publicly apologized to Bella and professed his love for her on the Today Show a few months ago. Some reports have claimed that they have gotten back together, others say otherwise, and there are even some fans who remain convinced that the relationship issues are simply a ratings ploy for the current season of the E! network series Total Bellas. The latest update from TMZ says that Nikki Bella has moved out of John Cena’s home and will be moving to San Diego. She continued to stay in Cena’s Tampa home as they worked out their differences, but this move could signify that the relationship is truly finished.
