Recently on Ring of Honor’s Global Wars tour stop in Pittsburgh, “Chicken” Mark Briscoe suffered an arm injury about one minute into a match with Los Ingobernables’s  Hiromu Takahashi. The match was stopped and Takahashi was declared the winner. Mark has been pulled off the foreseeable Global Wars shows and today he tweeted out why.

As is obvious, Mark suffered a dislocated elbow. It’s not known how much time off he will miss due to the injury. While the treatment is to pop the elbow back into joint, it still needs time to heal. With his level of separation, ligament and muscle damage may also be in play as well.

On television, they recently ran an angle where Mark’s brother Jay Briscoe attacked their partner Bully Ray with a table and are playing it like it may be the end of Bully Ray’s career. Mark has not stood by his brother and has apologized to Bully Ray instead. How this injury would affect that storyline has yet to be seen.
