Linda McMahon is returning to the private sector, according to a new report from Politico. The formal Senatorial candidate will be stepping down from her position in President Donald Trump’s cabinet, where she currently serves as head of the Small Business Administration.
An official date for her withdrawal from the government isn’t clear at this point, but it’s expected that McMahon will be actually be taking a position at the head of America First Action, a pro-Trump SuperPAC that will be a major part of raising the estimated $1 billion that the sitting President will need to fund his 2020 campaign. The two will be meeting privately this weekend at Mar-a-Lago.
