KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A King of Prussia man concocted a plan to kidnap, rape, and kill his estranged wife before he was arrested by police over the weekend, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said Monday.
Geoffrey Kay-Conway Sr., 52, has been charged with attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, and attempted rape.
Kay-Conway wrote a detailed note to his brother outlining his plans, which were put into motion after his wife left him and planned on divorcing him, police said. For weeks he monitored her movements, noting “where she parks. On which days she goes to the passenger side before getting in on the drivers side. Her routes home,” according to the note police said they found.

An initial protection from abuse order had been issued back on Sept. 28, but Kay-Conway continued the stalking, yelling and threatening her in public in Upper Merion on Oct. 20 and ultimately getting arrested for violating the order on Oct. 31, police said.
But Kay-Conway was released on $5,000 bail, and his planning resumed. He placed a tracking device on his wife’s car ,and on Sunday, Nov. 19 at around 10:45 a.m., he followed her to the Walmart parking lot by the King of Prussia Mall where he attacked, according to the DA.

The pair struggled for some time, with Kay-Conway stabbing her in the leg multiple times, police said. Officers arriving at the scene captured Kay-Conway in another parking lot nearby.
Kay-Conway had a large metal pick in his pocket, black zip ties, and a black duffle bag with a black pepperball gun, three piercing tools (one of which had the victim’s name written on it), a blindfold, duct tape, zip ties, knives, wire cutters, pliers, and KY jelly, police said. They also found the note in this bag.
The bag also contained a court order mandating Kay-Conway’s next appearance before a judge on Dec. 13. At the bottom of the order, Kay-Conway wrote “…I Have 1.5 months to Kill that Bitch. Could have Killed her 17 times if i wanted. What a week system,” police said.
A preliminary hearing for Kay-Conway is set for Dec. 11.
