The 19-year-old has previously been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal but Juve are now leading the way to land him

Juventus have made an approach to sign highly-rated PSV youngster Joel Piroe, Goal understands.

The 19-year-old forward has previously been courted by the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund while Premier League sides Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have also previously shown an interest.

Piroe, who impressed for PSV’s Under-19 side last season under manager Mark van Bommel, has scored eight goals in 13 appearances for the Netherlands Under-19 side

Serie A champions Juve have already contacted PSV about Piroe’s availability and are expected to lodge a bid in the region of €2 million for a player who has been watched regularly by Europe’s elite.

He would likely start his Bianconeri career within their Under-23 squad, but should he impress then a potential to fast-track him into the first team is not being ruled out.

Piroe moved to PSV from Feyenoord in 2014, having scored 45 goals in 26 games for the Rotterdam outfit, and was snapped up by Feyenoord previously from NEC Nijmegen.
