A Four Pillars tag team match with Double or Nothing implications is set for next week's AEW Dynamite.
After Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin by disqualification in the Four Pillars tournament on this week's episode, a tag team match was announced for next week's Dynamite. Allin and Jungle Boy will team against MJF and Guevara, and if Jungle Boy and Allin win, they will be added to the MJF vs. Guevara World title match at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 28.
Borrowing an Eddy Guerrero spot, Guevara tricked the referee into thinking that Allin had hit him with a skateboard, leading to the DQ finish in the Pillars tournament match on this week's show. Tony Schiavone then announced the tag match for next week on behalf of AEW owner Tony Khan.
New signee Roderick Strong is also set for his in-ring debut on next week's Dynamite.
Stemming from his debut angle on this week's show, Strong will team with Adam Cole, Orange Cassidy, and Bandido against Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker of the Jericho Appreciation Society next week.
Next week's Dynamite airs from the newly-refurbished CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
