Fans of NXT May be familiar with the name Nick Miller. Miller was part of a tag team called TM-61 on the NXT brand alongside Shane Thorne. The duo took part in some tag team matches and even made it to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament in 2016. TM-61 went away for months due to injuries, but both wrestlers returned with a renewed push as a heel team called The Mighty. However, the team came to an abrupt end last year when it was reported that Miller has been released. Miller reportedly asked to be let go from WWE, and Shane Thorne is still part of the NXT roster. Ever since the release was confirmed, Miller hasn’t been heard from much, but it looks like he has finally landed in a new promotion.

The wrestler formerly known as Nick Miller has just joined New Japan Pro Wrestling. Miller’s return to New Japan was confirmed by Rocky Romero on social media and later by NJPW themselves. Miller will be working in the CHAOS faction under the new ring name “Mad” Mikey Nicholls. Nicholls will be taking on HIKULEO during the upcoming NJ tournament as well. This is not the first time that Nicholls has wrestled for the Japanese promotion, and he even trained alongside Romero in the LA Dojo. Nicholls commented on the announcement on social media not long after the news was confirmed. It will be interesting to see what the former WWE Superstar can accomplish as soon as he arrives in NJPW.

As reported earlier in the week, The Young Bucks surprised fans once again at a local indie show by appearing unexpectedly. During their appearance, it was heavily teased that they would be facing the Lucha Bros in a match at the Double or Nothing event for All Elite Wrestling later this year. The Elite just released the latest episode of Being the Elite today, which confirmed that the tag team match will indeed be taking place during AEW’s first official event after all. The Lucha Bros (Pentagon & Fenix) vs. Matt and Nick Jackson should prove to be an exciting match during what is turning into a stacked lineup for Double or Nothing. Fans can look forward to seeing the sold-out show will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 25th.
