Few wrestling fans will forget the moment when Mick Foley shocked the world by winning the WWE Championship on Raw during the Monday Night Wars. The event marked a turning point in WWE’s ratings war in the late 1990s against WCW, especially after WCW announcer Tony Schiavone revealed the result of the match in advance (which some believe actually caused more fans to tune into the rival program.) On a new edition of WWE’s Revisited web series, Foley stopped by the very same arena wherein he captured the title from The Rock back in 1999. It has been twenty years since the WWE Hall of Famer won the championship on that historic night, and he talks all about it in the video posted down below:

WWE is promising to shake up their shows in 2019, and one way that the company plans on doing that is by adding some new faces to the rosters. Vignettes hyping up the arrivals of Lacey Evans, Lars Sullivan, EC3, Heavy Machinery, and Nikki Cross have been airing on TV lately, and each of these individuals wrapped up their commitments with NXT during the TV tapings earlier in the week. Although it was originally reported that these wrestlers may not be coming to the main roster until the Royal Rumble event this month, Cageside Seats says that some of the call ups are expected to take place as soon as this week. Which of the six wrestlers will be joining Raw or SmackDown was not specified in the original report though.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may or may not be getting involved in WrestleMania 35 this year, but he has continued to keep himself busy with several different projects over the past few months. One of those projects was the competition game show “Titan Games” which premiered on NBC this week. Fortunately for Johnson, the first show was a hit as it scored a 1.8 rating with around 6.501 million viewers. It premiered on Thursday night this week, and placed second in the ratings behind “The Big Bang Theory’s” 2.2 demo rating. The show sees competitors pushed to their limits and is definitely an entertaining watch. For those interested in the show but haven’t seen it yet, NBC has uploaded the entire first episode on their YouTube channel for free.
