Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, who was released from WWE back in January, has revealed on Twitter that the police investigation into rape allegations has been closed.
Amore posted a legal document from his attorney, which notes insufficient evidence was found “in this matter to warrant any criminal charges.”

Amore was accused back in October of 2017 of knocking a girl out and raping her, and when Amore failed to disclose to WWE officials that he was the subject of an ongoing police investigation, the company decided to release him in January of this year. It’s worth noting Enzo’s release was a combination of many factors, including him insulting Big Cass on social media, being thrown off a WWE tour bus, drawing backstage heat on himself, being disliked backstage by talents, and the “straw on the camel’s back” was the police investigation.
