ROCKVILLE, MD — Founded in 1998, APLUS Learning Center is a local provider of supplementary educational services for Montgomery County students in grades 3-12.
Located at 215 West Montgomery Ave. in Rockville, the APLUS Learning Center offers a variety of services, including math and writing enrichment courses, private tutoring, test preparation, gifted and talented programming, and college and educational advising, according to executive director Jocelyn Park.

When did you start working at APLUS?
I joined APLUS in 2016 but my father started the business with a dream of helping students achieve academic success. Today, my mission is to educate, equip, and empower all students with the skills they need to tackle challenges inside and outside the classroom.

What do you like about being a business owner in Rockville?
I love how diverse the population in Rockville is. I also love how I have been able to connect with other small business owners and how everyone has been very supportive.
