This past weekend in Orlando, Aaron Stevens, the wrestler who famously portrayed Damien Sandow in WWE, shocked the wrestling world when he gave an interview to Title Match Wrestling. During the interview, he seemed to imply that he would be retiring from wrestling.
While meeting fans at the weekend’s WrestleCon event, Stevens revealed that his stint in TNA as Aron Rex has ended and that he would be moving on to different places in his career. He even stated that ending his at the wrestling event was “not a bad thing.”
Since then, he has clarified that he will not be retiring from wrestling just yet, but will be stepping away in favor of other projects for now. On his official Twitter account he let fans know, “I never said retirement. I’m just doing some other stuff for a while. One thing I will never do is lie to you guys.”
