Considering that there are multiple cases of children getting kidnapped by strangers who first offer them candies, a standard warning given to kids by their parents is not to accept food from strangers. But, we would not expect it to be the case with a 22-year-old adult too. However, a screenshot shared recently on social media proves it wrong.

A 22-year-old man took to Reddit to share a conversation he had with his parents just before he started his train journey. “Indian Parents! I am 22M,” the post is captioned.

In a WhatsApp chat named “Headquarter”, one of the parents have asked if he boarded the train. The 22-year-old son informs that he is seated in his train and that it will leave in a while. Then, the parent wrote: “Kisi se kuch le kar ke nahi khana train mein (Don’t accept any food from anyone on the train).” They added, “Auto wala 100/- lega (The auto driver will charge Rs 100).”

My brother and I are adults and still every time mum leaves the house for a few minutes she says, ‘Ladna mat’ (Don’t fight).” Another user complained that his mother always asked his cousin to babysit him and his sisters. He wrote, “I’m a 25-year-old guy with 2 sisters and my mom calls over my cousin to babysit us when our parents are out for a few days.”

One user wrote, “Bohot hi acha lag raha hai ye sunkar. I am 33 and abhi bhi mere dadaji muje ye bolte hai jab mai train journey karta hu kabhi (I am so happy to read this. I am 33 and my grandfather still says this whenever I travel by train).” Another user appreciated the name of the WhatsApp chat group and commented, “Headquarter. Apt name, boss.”
