It looks like AEW World’s Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho has a date and an opponent set for his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Jericho challenged Hiroshi Tanahashi to a match at Wrestle Kingdom 14 in January during a promo that aired on the big screen after Tanahashi and Kota Ibushi defeated Kazuchika Okada and YOSHI-HASHI at the POWER STRUGGLE event this weekend.
Once the Jericho promo video wrapped up, Tanahashi accepted the challenge.
NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 14 is scheduled to take place on January 5th from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
