Britt Baker is out of this week’s AEW Dynamite.

Tony Khan announced on social media Wednesday night that due to illness, Baker would not be wrestling on Wednesday's show. The scheduled match between her and Ruby Soho in the opening round of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament will instead take place on next week's Dynamite.

“Due to illness, 2022 Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament Winner Dr. Britt Baker DMD isn't cleared to wrestle tonight vs Ruby Soho,” Khan wrote on Twitter. “Ruby Soho will be in action tonight, + the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal Britt Baker vs Ruby Soho will take place next week.”

Baker’s boyfriend, Adam Cole, was pulled from Saturday’s Forbidden Door the day of the show, also due to illness. It was later said during the Forbidden Door media scrum that he was sent home after suffering from a fever and chills. He was scheduled to face Filthy Tom Lawlor, with Lawlor instead defeating Serpentico in a dark match prior to the start of the show.
