According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, plans for Braun Strowman at WrestleMania have changed and may remain unclear until the status of Roman Reigns gets sorted out.
Strowman was initially slated to challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental belt at WrestleMania, but those plans seemed to have change after last night’s RAW in Anaheim.
“One thing that was changed and that is The Miz/Braun Strowman appears to be out because if you watch the thing it’s pretty clear they’re gonna be doing Miz and Seth Rollins and probably Finn Balor in a 3-way which takes Strowman out,” Meltzer said. “And Strowman is obviously based on what happened there, Strowman is the backup plan if something happens — you know I don’t know if they’re gonna go with a 3-way at Mania with Strowman in there with Reigns and Brock Lesnar but it something happens with Lesnar, obviously, it’s Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman it’s the only match you can put in that spot.”

With allegations circling that Reigns could be embroiled in a steroid ring, WWE may hedge its bets on the WrestleMania main event match.
“And if something happens with Roman Reigns, and something still could, Strowman’s the only guy you could put in that spot as well.”
Meltzer went on to say that WWE could always book Strowman vs Eliasif they wanted to but, “there is concern for Roman Reigns for sure, but the idea right now is he’s the main event at WrestleMania. But there is a Braun Strowman backup plan clearly in place, so whatever that means.”
