The flat-stick represents the first time that the R&A has allowed an OEM to craft an official piece of equipment for The Open and features Bettinardi’s distinct micro-honeycomb face.

The putter features the markings “1951 – 2019” on the round bumpers, “Limited Edition” down the outer neck, the Claret Jug on the heel of the face and “The Open – 148th Royal Portrush” on its sole.

Hand-painted in the traditional Open colors, the limited-edition 2019 Open putter comes with a matching headcover and grip as well as a 148th Royal Portrush branded Open display box.

The putter costs £1,200 and is available to purchase now from TheOpen.com on a first-come basis.
