It was previously reported that WWE Legend Shawn Michaels was offered a huge amount by the company to compete in tonight’s 50-Man Royal Rumble Match but he turned down the offer. According to backstage sources, another WWE Legend was also offered a huge amount by the company but as Shawn Michaels did, he also turned down the offer. The report indicated that WWE Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin was offered a hefty amount to compete in the 50-Man Royal Rumble Match but turned it down. Neither Michaels or Austin has shown any interest in years in returning to wrestling so this is not surprising.
