As we noted yesterday, prior to his match against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12, Chris Jericho posted some fan art on his Instagram page, depicting the souls of the late Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero behind Jericho, and Jericho used the artwork to dedicate his NJPW match to his “fallen brothers.” You can check out the Instagram post below.

Jericho received a few negative reactions from the internet wrestling community following his dedication of the match to Chris Benoit, stemming from the tragic events which took place in Benoit’s life, and Jericho has since released the video below reacting to the online criticism. Below is a quote from Jericho in the video:

“Yeah I know what Chris did, I think about it every single day. I was involved more than any one of you are. So trust me, I understand. The horrible, horrible events that took place. And I will never forgive it and I will never understand it. But I have my reasons for doing what I’m doing, so don’t anybody tell me, anybody make smart ass remarks about what I say or do…Nobody tells me what to do, I have my reasons, and I think about the loss of Nancy Benoit and Daniel Benoit every single f**king day.”
