Earlier this month Brie Bella announced her retirement from professional wrestling on an episode of Total Bellas in order to spend more time with her budding family and focus on her businesses.
In the recent season finale, twin sister Nikki Bella also dropped the bombshell that she too will be hanging up her wrestling boots. It would appear that the Bella Twins are wrestlers no more…
Nikki wrestled her final matches in WWE during the November 2018 European tour, working three matches against Natalya and three matches against “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship.
The Bellas signed developmental contracts in 2007 and debuted on the main roster in 2008, with Brie originally working as a singles wrestler that swapped in and out with a hidden Nikki while the referee was distracted. Nikki was later introduced officially and this practice became known as “Twin Magic”.
By the end of Nikki’s career she won the WWE Divas Championship on two occasions and actually never went a single year without wrestling a match in her 11 years as an active wrestler.
