Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 936,000 viewers on TNT, down 14.1 percent from the previous week’s Blood & Guts episode. Aside from the episode that went against Joe Biden’s presidential address, it’s the lowest viewership number Dynamite has done since NXT moved off of Wednesday nights.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.31 rating, down 26.2 percent from last week. That is the lowest number Dynamite has drawn since April 7 and the lowest number the show has ever done on a night when it wasn’t against NXT.

In the 18-34 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.19 rating, the exact same as last week, although the raw number of viewers in 18-34 was up 2.3 percent according to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

“The show did 89,000 [viewers] in men 18-34 (down 3.3 percent from last week), 45,000 in women 18-34 (up 15.4 percent), 193,000 in men 35-49 (down 30.8 percent) and 71,000 in women 35-49 (down 48.6 percent),” Meltzer wrote.

Year-over-year, Dynamite was up 43.1 percent in viewership and up 34.8 percent in 18-49. Of course, that’s compared to when the show was running head-to-head with NXT. Dynamite was also up 35.7 percent in the 18-34 demo.
