The following are results from this week’s WWE SmackDown tapings, which were held in Houston, Texas:
– This week’s show opens with Kane coming down to the ring. Kane talks about the way Triple H treated Daniel Bryan on Monday’s RAW. He talks about how it’s best for business. He says Bryan deserved everything that happened to him and what is going to happen to him at WrestleMania. Kane talks about a letter he has from Triple H, which basically talks about how everyone needs to respect The Authority.
– Fernando def. Fandango in singles action. The finish comes when Diego and El Torito mess with Summer Rae, which distracts Fandango, allowing Fernando to capitalize and secure the victory.
– Dolph Ziggler def. Damien Sandow in singles action. This was basically a typical singles match, with Ziggler getting the victory.
– The Wyatt Family appears on the titan tron. The trio, led by Bray Wyatt, cut another promo about John Cena and WrestleMania.
– Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. 3MB vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel vs. The Real Americans in a number one contender’s match ends in a no contest. The finish came when a huge brawl broke out, leading to Kane coming to the ring and laying out Roman Reigns, who was at ringside during the bout. The two end up fighting up the ramp until The New Age Outlaws came out and helped Kane beat up Reigns. The fight continued until Kane and The New Age Outlaws ended up dominating all three members of The Shield and left them laying.
– There is a MizTV segment with special guest The Big Show. The focus is on the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. In the end, after many of the participants of the battle royal take part in the segment, Miz announces his participation in the match at WrestleMania. A battle royal takes place with Big Show last-eliminating Sheamus for the victory.
– There is a backstage segment with Santino Marella and Emma. This was a basic comedy segment between these two.
– Alberto Del Rio def. Big E. in singles competition. This was a non-title match.
– The Bella Twins def. Summer Rae & Natalya in Divas tag-team action. The current WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee was on commentary during this match. Tamina Snuka was also at ringside.
– A backstage segment takes place with all of the tag-teams from the number one contender’s match that took place earlier. In the end, Kane, who was also part of the segment, ends up granting both Ryback and Curtis Axel and The Real Americans a tag-team title shot, as well as announcing 3MB as entrants in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
– Alexander Rusev and Lana came out and did the same ritual that they’ve been doing for the past several weeks.
– John Cena def. Luke Harper in the main event of the evening. Cena picked up the victory after hitting Harper with his Attitude Adjustment finisher. After the match, both Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan hit the ring to attack Cena, but ultimately Cena ended up on the top of the stage and taunted the trio to end the show.
