12/16/16 WWE Raw Holiday Tour Results from Rochester, NY

– The advertised Double Main Event for the past month was Reigns vs Owens in a Champion vs Champion Match and Rollins vs Rusev. Tonight’s Ring Announcer is Jo Jo. Onto the results.

Match 1) Fatal 4-Way Raw Tag Team Title Match- The Champs New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E, w/ Xavier Woods) defeated
Enzo & Big Cass, Gallows & Anderson, and Cesaro & Sheamus when Kofi pinned
Anderson following The Midnight Hour.

Match 2) Neville pinned Jinder Mahal w/ 450 splash. Following his defeat, Mahal got the mic and demanded another wrestler and harder challenge , so he wouldn’t leave Rochester defeated twice, The Big Show came out, hit him with a Chokeslam and left to celebrate with the fans .

Match 3) Golden Truth and Sin Cara defeated The Shining Stars and Curtis Axel
when R-Truth pinned Primo following a double team “What’s Up” w/ Goldust.

– Rusev and Lana came out to cut a promo with Lana on the mic talking about Rusev is going to “C-R-U-S-H” Big Cass at Roadblock but first Rusev will beat Rollins tonight. She then down talked America, stated Rusev is the only man that can have her and he is a true American Hero.

Match 4) for Seth Rollins pinned Rusev (w/ Lana) following a Pedigree. Seth came out to a big reaction while Rusev and Lana received much heat. Lana was also ejected towards the end of the match for trying to interfere. Afterward, Rollins celebrated with the fans, signed autographs, and took pictures.

Match 6) Special Guest Ref Emmalina- Alexis Bloss & Bayley defeated Charlotte Flair & Nia Jax (w/Dana Brooke) when Charlotte submitted to the Bank Statement.

Match 7) Braun Strowman pinned Sami Zayn following a running Power Slam.

– Kevin Owens came out and grabbed the mic stating that Rochester is a dump, and this crowd is lucky they get to see not one Champion but two face each other tonight. As per Stephanie McMahon, tonight the U.S Title will be on the line and after he wins it, will go back to Canada and slap on a big Leaf and rename it the WWE Canadian Championship!

Main Event: WWE U.S Championship Match-
United States Champion Roman Reigns pinned WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens when Reigns countered the Pop Up Powerbomb into a “Superman Punch” and Spear for the win. Afterward, ROMAN Celebrated with the crowd to a big pop.

Overall solid show and good warm up before The Roadblock PPV this Sunday. The Blue Cross Arena was almost full.
