— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that last night’s WWE Raw was more of a Paul Heyman show than ever before and while his influence was not 100%, he was involved heavily in the creative aspect. The Gauntlet match in an attempt to create a “new star” was clearly Heyman’s idea as is the entire Maria/Mike pregnancy storyline and the Samoan Summit segment and subsequent chaotic ending.
— A couple of speculated matches as per Observer Radio for next week’s Raw include an eight-man tag match with Roman Reigns, Cedric Alexander & The Usos taking on Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Anderson & Gallows. Another potential match is Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Natalya & Becky Lynch while an appearance from The Fiend, Bray Wyatt is also likely. Next week’s Raw is the SummerSlam go-home edition of the show.
