During the latest show’s “Weekend Update” section, a character named Cathy Anne blasts the existence of fake news, saying it is the work of the “alt-right.”

She then calls for people to disconnect from the Internet.

“Everybody needs to get off the damn Internet for a few days, including Donald Trump,” she said during the show. 

“I know he’s watching.” She says people should go outside and meet people “face-to-face.”  The president-elect has in the past blasted “Saturday Night Live.” Last week, he said it wasn’t a “good show anymore.” He called Alec Baldwin’s imitation of him “mean-spirited and not very good.”
