UPDATE: It appears that Wednesday’s TNA Impact will be the final episode on Destination America.

The episode is slotted for 11:00 p.m. EST featuring follow-up to last week’s TNA Title tournament quarter-final matches.

TNA decided to run the semi-finals and finals on Pop TV when Impact debuts on January 5.

SUNDAY REPORT

TNA appears to be ending its run on Destination America similar to how things ended on Spike TV this time last year – bumped from its timeslot.

Right now, Dest. America is listing the next Impact episode (Wednesday, December 16) for 11:00 p.m. EST, out of the standard 9:00 p.m. prime time slot.

According to the official schedule, Dest. America is running a “Mountain Monsters” marathon from 1:00 until 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Impact will then air from 11:00 until 1:00 a.m. There will not be a late-night replay.

The following week, Impact is not listed for Wednesday, Dec. 23. Dest. America is listing a series of “Epic” shows on Islands, Log Homes, and Beach Homes on Wednesday night.

It’s interesting to note that talent was under the impression that the TNA Hvt. Title tournament would conclude in 2015, then TNA would begin 2016 with a champion. However, TNA is airing the semi-finals and finals on January 5 when Impact debuts on Pop TV. Based on the December TV scheduling, it’s apparent that TNA wants to move on from Dest. America without presenting the finale of a two-month tournament on their current network.
