New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently held the fifth night of their New Japan Cup Event which is a single elimination tournament that lasts for 12 days and the winner of the said tournament will get an opportunity to face IWGP Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White for The IWGP Heavyweight Title at The G1 Supercard Event in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on April 6th. The recent show which featured the second round of the tournament emanated from The ZIP Arena Okayama in Okayama, Japan and it was headlined by “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii taking on Taichi in a New Japan Cup Second Round Match as the main event.
