In a recent interview with Empire, Scarlett Johansson shared how her long-time character, Black Widow, is more than angry at the events that occurred at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.
Since Avengers: Infinity War ended abruptly after Thanos snapped his fingers – which at first was drafted to happen in Avengers: Endgame – the remaining Avengers were not able to show their reactions to his hostile attack.
As has been shown in the trailers, the upcoming Avengers: Endgame will be focusing more on how the surviving superheroes feel about the catastrophic event.
“When we find her [in Endgame], she’s fucking pissed off,” Johansson told Empire in regards to Black Widow’s mindset in the final installment.

After the release of Avengers: Endgame, Johansson will reprise her role in a stand alone Black Widow film.
The idea of a solo Black Widow movie focusing on Natasha Romanoff’s backstory was discussed for years, and more heavily since 2014 with both Johansson and Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige talking about the need for more female led superhero films.
