NOTTINGHAM, MD — A new hot pot restaurant is opening in White Marsh.
Volcano Hot Pot plans to open in 2025. It will fill the vacancy left by brick oven pizza eatery Bertucci’s, which closed in spring 2022.
The new business will be located at 8130 Corporate Drive. That’s next to The Avenue at White Marsh.

Federal Realty, which operates the property, confirmed the news to Patch.
Volcano Hot Pot has seven locations spread across Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania.

Hot pot customers cook their own food at their table. Patrons choose from seven soup bases, ranging from spicy to miso, and boil their protein in the broth. Guests can also make their own sauces.
“[Our] relaxing unique modern cuisine, with our friendly and knowledgeable staff [will] ensure an excellent dining experience,” Volcano Hot Pot said on its website. “While the broth-based, cook-at-your-table dish has long been available in restaurants in the United States, a recent class of arrivals specializes solely in making hot pot and making it great.”
