BARNEGAT, NJ — Barnegat has a new member of its Township Committee after Jake Townsend was sworn in at the Feb. 6 meeting.
Townsend replaces Committeeman William Farmer, who stepped down in January. Farmer chose to leave due to health issues, according to a report from The Sandpaper.
Townsend will serve through the rest of Farmer’s term, which expires at the end of this year.
