MANCHESTER, CT — The latest Hidden Gem is just as much about the man as the location.
Welcome to the Manchester Tailor Shop and Joe Grimaldi. Grimaldi, who has owned the Manchester Tailor Shop on Spruce Street for more than 58 years, was recently honored by the Manchester Police Department with a cake commemorating his 90th birthday.
The shop is tucked in a spot hidden from Main Street, but those who need alterations know where to find Grimaldi, arguably the town’s true master tailor.
