TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s help locating a man suspected of sexual assault.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media on Friday that Emmanuel Ineh is wanted for first degree rape.

Ineh is described as a Black male, originally from Nigeria, who may speak with a noticeable accent.
Kennedy said he is 22 years old, 6’3″ and weighing 190 pounds. His last known place of residence was in the area of Redpoint Apartments at 1100 Hargrove Road East.

“During the investigation information was developed that there may be more victims,” he said. “Due to the sensitive nature of these assaults, no details will be released.”
Kennedy said those with any information as to Ineh’s whereabouts are asked to immediately call their local law enforcement agency or the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit at (205 464-8690.
