THIS COULD HAVE ended quite differently for Nathan Friend.

Normally, when a rugby player is tip-tackled — even accidentally — it does not end well for them.

However, instead of panicking, the New Zealand Warriors’ hooker had the wherewithal to get the ball away through his legs, finding his team-mate Sam Tomkins.

The pass itself would have been good enough, but thanks to a no-look pass from half-back Shaun Johnson, Tomkins was able to skip through and score and help his side secure a  28-14 win.
